End of amnesty for illegal immigrants

Followed the immigration officials on an operasi. It has been a long time since I had a midnight adventure like that. I brought a fellow photographer along, Choen. I think he was a little shaken by the whole cowboy style experience during the assignment. I always told people that shooting was only 10 percent of my job. The other 90 percent is doing everything else to make sure I get the picture. And last night it wasn't easy to follow those RELA trucks and immigration fellows. They didn't wait up for the press and disregarded traffic lights. Thank god I managed to keep up. We walked in the darkness after that and had to cross muddy patches on the dirt track. Really, cowboy style but fun.
